IBTM World Global Trends Report 2024

Day one of the IBTM Conference took place on the 19th November 2024 at the Fira Conference Centre, Barcelona, Spain.

The launch of the conference was also the release of the Global Trends Report compiled by Alistair Turner and contributed to by Goc O’Callaghan. The report was discussed with Stephanie Cheaung of MarketID, Heledd Williams of Visit Wales as well as Goc O’Callaghan in front of a live audience with Alistair Turner as the host.

The report discuss followed a key note by Goc O’Callaghan on The Global Shift Towards Experientialism. The session brought to life to life how new research and understanding of experience design is changing the way people live and work around the world, how the experience economy is adapting to revolutionary technological changes, and how this is all filtering into experience design in our own meetings and events world.
